Yup. During his time in the CEOs chair in that Oval office I never saw him for what he was. I'm disappointed in him and the Democratic party, but mostly just disappointed in myself for being a bit nieve with a bit too much faith in other humans. Oh well, live and learn on your feet lest you die on your knees.
Reminds me of the saying: "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
I should have realized much sooner also. I have no excuse. I was already primed for it. From a number of directions. Early internet, banking major, conspiracy interest, the ron paul primary, even school. I asked if I had rights as in the 1st and they flatly told me no. I was even framed once by school staff. How all this didn't add up to a cohesive distrust for me is, a bit mysterious.
Sometimes I even wonder if these memories are mine, they don't make sense, but I attribute that to file rot, I don't fully trust my own memories either. Why should I after all.
Self recrimination is pointless. Everyone figures things out when they are ready to figure them out. To paraphrase Nietzsche , now that you are awake, you will stay awake.
Don't beat up on yourself. You are a citizen of the most heavily propagandized nation on the planet. You have been conditioned to not see what the powers that be don't want you to see. The last 8-10 years feel like we have been drowning in gaslighting and psy-ops.
I woke up so long ago... LOL! 26 years ago I knew that things were not as they were presented as, and 15 years ago I grasped that the tool of control is money and that it is archaic as a tool - but the psychopaths in control hide the tech that makes it so. Today... I just don't consent!
As always, food for thought. Your brain is fascinating and I deeply approve of your attempt to heuristic our way into a better society. I feel like I can monkey paw your three laws, but the goal is obviously sound. You seem to indirectly be answering hypothetical policy questions. Reminds me of a post I did somewhere ages ago, called Emperor Innomen where I briefly tried to get specific about what I would do.
I quickly learned just from the writing that I would need to formally instruct myself since rule is basically cold war by default. And even on a united planet I'd still be facing abstraction enemies.
So I sort of gave up. Leadership needs to be limited, and it's funny because nature found a way. Like I am nominally in charge of my body but it will over ride me in many contexts.
Anyway, I only see one problem. I think we disagree about children. I don't have any and probably never will so the point is moot, but imo children aren't property and it is not a moral given that you're allowed to teach them whatever you feel like. To me, "parenting" itself is exploitative.
Changing society should be done among adults, not through children. To me, that's deeply unethical. I do have a very workable solution. But I don't think I've posted it here before, I think I will now. https://innomen.substack.com/p/the-final-underclass
Not sure what You mean by "monkey paw" the Laws. These cover the only things that every One of Us would say "No!" to if asked if they were okay to be done to Us. All else is a matter of taste.
I do not seek "leadership" other than leaders of the moment emerging to solve for problems. They don't get any power over Others, but that Their efforts and ideas are accepted that the best way to go about resolving the issue at hand.
Considering Humanity arose from parents teaching Their children whatever They wanted to... I do not grasp where the issue is. No, children are not property, but are the Ethical responsibility of the parents.
I mean evil genie, lawyer, I could twist your laws, it all comes down to interpretation and definitions. English is inherently imprecise. You can't code for wisdom, it's situational and discretionary almost by definition.
I agree, society rose emergently from kids being conditioned. I'm saying we need to do it intentionally without bias, I hope you enjoy the time spent reading my piece. :) Appreciated.
Only in the last century or so, and the “kids” label came out of the Hollywood sector, You know… The Ones who get adrenochrome, worship evil things, and yes… Sacrifice children. I did not mention that TMWMMMS was in the entertainment industry, so I know first hand that They do, in fact, sacrifice children like goats.
Indeed not. But I feel like your statement is more anarchic buzz word than observation of reality. I doubt you were thinking of nature's tendency to centralize authority, or the failure of agriculture. I suspect you were thinking more like a mohawk and a middle finger.
Either way it doesn't matter because you are right, no human is worth following, even yourself, since we're just wirehead rats without the rat. Dopamine addicts running from nature's cattle prod between fixes.
Either AI is coming as apex predator or total alien, or it isn't and we're all doomed to cultist banker rule.
Either way, no human is coming to help me and I don't have the stamina for hunter gathering.
But to be fair I have objectively given good life changing advice, I was just unable to follow it myself, and no one outside me would listen. Maybe if someone somewhere had, I would be in a position to personally refute you. I mean, think of me as a leader. You know my axiom and the resulting positions. Tell me how I'd corrupt. I'm genuinely curious. Assuming I'm not just killed or poisoned or something by outside forces. Tell me why I personally am not worthy to rule. Or is my vulnerability to the outside the deal breaker? Like how the soviets allowed themselves to be killed?
It’s 2024 and I’m in total disbelief Trump was elected again. He is not competent and by electing him was basically electing Elon Musk. He is an immigrant, born in Africa. He bought this election. Offering a million dollars to sign a petition and vote for Trump. That fact alone made voting the equivalent of playing the lottery. Make no mistake. Trump wants to be a dictator. He has tried to be “friends” with Kim Jong Un and Vladimir Putin. He will be Purin’s puppet. He has said he will put RFK JR. in charge of all policies except gas and oil. RFK JR. MAKE NO MISTAKE, RFK JJR IS NOTHING LIKE JFK OR HIS FATHER, RFK. They would be appalled by the declarations. I remember the assassinations of both Kennedy as well as Martin Luther King Jr. I am glad I’m 70 and I have little hope for the future. I always dreamed of so much more at this stage of life. I haven’t felt this hopeless in a very long time. I graduated high school in 1972. and worked my way through We were strong advocates of women’s rights. We abolished the death penalty, if only for a short time. We were proud to be American. There was a real feeling of hope in the future of America. There is no hope now that I can see. At least I can say I voted blue, for the last time. I am no longer proud to be American.

Thank you, and true. The game was deeply rigged decades before my birth.

Will check out Your piece shortly.

Children, not kids.
Anyway, I can see that We differ radically in perspective...
You have a bad habit of assigning your own definition to words. Children and kids mean the same thing outside your skull, unless we’re talking goats.

Consenting to be ruled over never works out. Like, ever.
