At work so hard but- when we're the carbon they want to reduce "they" aren't going to encourage the mass pausing in the reducion process, permanent disposal/ending.
Space and resources - The physical and energy difficulties are immense and would grow at a disproportionate amount to the bodies.
Bloodline wealth loss- We have the rapidly fraying family bonds, would the future generation/s be keen to lose any accumulated wealth.
Legally - you're dead, what rights would you retain or better put be allowed.
That doesn't address the core point. You can make arguments all day pro and con. Where is the discussion itself? Flat earth gets more conversation than cryonics. I see no reason.
I feel like you didn't read my post. But it's ok, it's long, I get it. I appreciate the comments. I guess that's part of the answer, people just refuse to even address death if they can avoid it.
But I do like your point of aggregate gestalts serving as singularities. That's an interesting argument. A Venn diagram leading to a single outcome. But still, it's nota good enough answer.

That and other points are the core mate because the core of anything is an accumulation of reasons that becomes a yes or no or maybe.
For me generally talking about it is a no.
When young and first hearing about it I was f yeah, I'm going to live forever anyway but just in case.
Use it ? Perhaps

Cryonics is too elemental.
