The truth will never come out. This is because in every conflict the victors write the history. The truth is suppressed through corrupting the media, cancelling people and a huge flood of money from special interests to accomplish this. The truth is always lost in history and it always will be.

Indeed. He who controls the present controls the past...

Discussing humanity with a chatbot seems odd. No matter how clever and convoluted the coding is, reading about living is not the same as actually living. With all of its conjectures and problems and rewards. I really do like your outlook on these things; the outlook of a chatbot is, to me, irrelevant.

Maybe because I was a programmer, and code is code, nothing more. And as a quality engineer - code can be full of bugs, because people write it.

And yet I do my best writing in response to others, and no human comes close to interested discussion with me on these edge case topics. Like with Cryo, I genuinely can't explain the lack of social footprint. Believe me, I'd rather talk to people, But they ironically given my point here seem mostly uninterested.

As for code, shit, we're all code.

Fair enough. I still love the idea of having two subsets of AI - maybe this was your idea? - technical intelligence, wondrous for tasks like creating spreadsheets and millions more convoluted tasks, and then another name for the chatbot versions.

At my rather advanced age, having had an NDE and still having all my marbles (I am pretty sure), I am content with listening to Iris DeMent singing Let the Mystery Be. Is there a Great Plan? Is it really all chaos? Do most people go through their entire lives without even knowing how their world has been shaped by monied interests? Why is most "new" development faster, bigger, better, and not actually new? I do hope to find out. And I always enjoy your Substack, thanks!

I deeply appreciate your supportive comments, and any time spent reading. I don't know if I proposed that division, my gut tells me I didn't, but then my memory is pathologically bad and I am a fan of agent ai as a concept, so I might have, context is everything for me, which goes back to why I do my best stuff in response to other stuff. Heh, I guess humans need prompts too :P

As for your questions, I share them, But obviously I also have some cynical theories X)

For now, enjoyment is the best gift we can give apart from healing and freedom, so I'm glad you got some from my typing XD :)

The closest we ever got, the Scandinavian countries, or japan maybe, all were unable to parley their ethical success into spread. So either success depends on exclusion (finland) or there's a deep dark side when you look close (japan).

All revolutions fail in some core darwinist way, it might not be fair how they fail, like being murdered, (CIA) but the fact of the result remains the same."
