Update: In freeing Assange, They also deleted the DNC files at wikileaks which form the core of my argument.

TLDR:
Without any snark or hyperbole. The government, as defined as an organization that represents the will of the people to any statistically non-zero degree, does not exist. It is 100% sham, farce, and con. Objectively. The edifice exists, obviously, but it does not make policy. It exists to Prevent government from existing.
Some context: I was recently banned from a neolib opposing subreddit for alerting them to the fact that when the DNC’s lawyers claimed in open court that the DNC is a fiction and therefore has no legal obligations of any kind, that also meant the same applied to the RNC and therefore we don’t have elections.
This fact is profoundly unflattering to partisans. And especially to hyperpartisans for whom any parity with the “bad guys” on the “other team” is brain locking horror.
Firstly, all the citation links I could muster are at the bottom so the assertion that I’ve fundamentally misrepresented anything is manifestly specious.
Secondly this is not some petty stab at a single little sub or even all of Reddit. My target here is the lie that is still common belief, that we have elections.
We do not have federal elections in America. Objectively. We have selections and LARPs. It’s a TV show. You’ll see why below:
Now again, I couldn’t care less about my post being censored, truth be told it’s flattering and entertaining in that it gives me something to respond to. However the whole reason I speak in public is an attempt to alert people to critical meaningchanging context. (Substack breaks hyphenated words so I had to make that one compound for clarity. We really need a better Internet, all these fiefdoms are, and all this duplication of effort is, atrocious.)
So while the censorship doesn’t bother me the fact that there’s still a need to tell people this, does. Especially when it’s so easy to prove, has such massive consequences, and yet people don’t seem to care.
Like, you’d think, as I mentioned, that the RNC and its many members would enjoy being able to promote the FACT that the DNC officially stated in open court that it is legally allowed to rig primaries or dispense with them entirely. (A fact that on inspection isn’t even outlandish.) But in this context, bashing the bad guys on the other team means bashing the sport. And people are so loath to do this, that some sort of psychological automatic shutdown occurs.
It is as if people literally can’t see this fact. I don’t think they are consciously conspiring to hide this data or its consequences, I think their mind just slips around it like some kind of jedi mind trick cloaking field is in play. To register this fact is the equivalent of introspection and it would appear that the majority of minds are literally incapable of it. It’s like infrared light or hypersonics. The stimulus just doesn’t register.
Why is it not outlandish? Because think about it. In order to have political freedom any potential political structure needs to allow for alternative political processes. If I wanted to form a monarchy party for example, votes wouldn’t even make sense. Political parties must be allowed to do whatever they please with elections by definition.
By admitting this in court (or to yourself) a disturbing logical chain forms leading to the fact that the entire united states government is illegitimate, to put it mildly. It’s so obvious that apparently it short circuits conscious awareness. Much like certain arguments in the context of free will. You either see them or you don’t.
I don’t vote:
Update: People just don’t care.
If primary elections can be rigged because political parties can select officials however they please, then those elections are farcical, if those elections are farcical, then the general “elections” between farcically selected candidates are equally illegitimate. This means: We aren’t selecting our “leaders.” If elections don’t elect, then we aren’t having them. If we aren’t having elections, we’re not a democracy. (We’re an actual objective oligarchy.)
If we aren’t selecting our leaders, who is? Follow the money. Follow the policy. What does this fictional government actually accomplish? Who does it actually serve if not the will of the people?
If general elections are farcical, then every policy and action enacted by those officials is as well. Every appointment, every regulation, every law, every hallowed institution. All your patriotism is misplaced. All your political action is meaningless. All governmental everything is either fictious, or illegitimate. I don’t know how much more clear I can be.
Is clarity even the problem?
I don’t really understand why this doesn’t register and cause waves. I don’t understand why it’s as if this information and logic doesn’t exist. I’m being flippant in a sense when I say that humanity has speciated and the like, but at the same time I literally can’t think of an alternative.
Having read this, do you understand that we literally don’t have a Government? What does this mean to you? How can you still participate in the fandom reality TV show of political action within the framework of electoral politics?
This is what frustrates me about any talking head MSM or indie or influencer when they breathlessly cover something the “government” did like it isn’t a plot twist in a video game cut scene.
Can you imagine how much of an outsider I am as a result of seeing this? What am I missing? Why should I care what biden/trump/whoever said or did? Why do you care? All of this “news” is worse than static.
I kinda thought that telling people would have an impact but it doesn’t and I don’t understand why. It’s easy to use thought killing words like stupid or evil but that doesn’t explain anything. That’s just a label for the action’s character value. Like ok lets say they are stupid, that doesn’t inform my response beyond making me cynical. Is it really that simple? Are people “just” “stupid” and I should leave it at that?
This is the entrance to a very dark and convoluted forest. What is the ethical and practical reality if that is the case? Part of me, a big part, really hopes I’m missing something, and someone can just leverage this data and spread it and make it common knowledge and I won’t get blank looks and zero engagement posts for saying it anymore.
But if that doesn’t happen, can’t happen, like what if Elon Musk retweeted this. What would happen to public consciousness? If we assume however that it would do nothing, that people would just disregard it like they always do, what does that mean for how we should move forward? Does this make billionaire rule by deception legitimate? Is it even deception anymore if the truth itself won’t stick in people’s minds?
If a person CAN’T be freed, what does that ethically do to the act of enslavement? Am I a fool for respecting people as humans? They sure seem to want abuse. From religion to the work ethic to gaming every context has people eagerly arguing for their own exploitation.
And I just can’t even anymore.
Edit/Update: The mods of r/Walkaway replied. Again not that I care, but look at this shocking example of the mind blindness I’m talking about.
“Come back when the repub.ican (sic) party admits in court your vote doesn't matter. Anything else is pure conjecture. It's sad you don't know this.”
What would you even call this from a logical fallacy standpoint? Special pleading? Is he seriously saying he needs the RNC to say in court the exact same things? IT apparently doesn’t register that they are legally identical. I shouldn’t even have to type that.
Does he think “Republican” is a legally different species than “Democrat?” I’ve included a link to the first example I could find of the DNC/RNC suing each other. There are no doubt others but it’s hard to search court records efficiently in a country that paywalls everything. The point is though I shouldn’t have to search. This is absurd on its face.
I can’t even sus out what it is he’s doing neurologically/psychologically. I’ll happily stipulate he’s making that statement in good faith, like he really thinks he has a crushing good argument there. It’s a bit like dealing with a scitzophrenic. They aren’t evil, or stupid, or even wrong really, just, broken. Something is broken. If it’s me, I wonder how I’d go about explaining that to me from a position of knowing where my flaw is, so if you can tell me where I went wrong, I’m glad to hear it.
But anyway, the RNC did to Ron Paul what the DNC did to Bernie Sanders so that’s an even more clear example. And some RP delegates sued the RNC also, though I can’t find complete transcripts of that case. Not that I have to.
Update:
Yeah it’s definitely some kind of mental hang-up. People just refuse to parse facts.
https://www.reddit.com/r/RFKJrForPresident/comments/15ngwba/im_leaving_i_love_rfk_and_you_guys_but_this_is/ Read all the comment exchanges here. It’s mind numbing. People will absolutely not face the facts.

I’m not going to manually hyperlink all of them like it’s 1995, I value my finite minutes of life too much for such tedium.)

Thank you for writing this piece! This is what we've been trying to tell dumb, ignorant people out there that voting doesn't work & that our government & politicians everywhere are corrupt! Especially to liberals/neoliberals!
