Voting and protests are pointless, and the AI is coming anyway. Is there anybody out there? - YouTube

(00:01) going to try and make a video here it probably won't work my cat will harass me um there's so much I can't say because of privacy like uh I I did a really quick intro for this video before like just a second ago and I included like saying happy birthday to somebody and then I realized man if I say their birthday that could get them harassed you know or it would be could be a security risk because somebody might be able to use parlay knowing their birthday into getting more data from some other place about them and you know
(00:34) it's it's like we just live in such a dystopia and on that topic which was the reason I'm I'm making this video you know it's MLK day uh I want to remind everybody especially in light of the massive massive totally media blacked out Gaza protests you know like it's almost Iraq war scale protests certainly internationally um that that's not going to accomplish anything it might accomplish some things in some other countries probably not because the reason protest has worked in the past is because of the implied
(01:19) threat of violence like the idea is that you get a bunch of people in the street and it alerts the government to the fact that we are so upset we might actually do something if you don't address this problem like us being here out in the street and disrupting things and holding signs is to it's like a warning you know not even a warning shot but at least it's a warning and since the Iraq War protests the largest protests in human history as far as I'm aware accomplished nothing and no one cared there was no consequence for
(02:00) the billionaires that run everything uh to just ignore the demands and since Occupy Wall Street um they have learned that we're not going to actually do anything if totally ignored or even mocked or ex you attacked pepper sprayed it really doesn't matter they they they have learned that most protests they uh do not turn into riots and if completely ignored people will just go home and get back to work it's like a Day Festival you know it's it's a mild inconvenience for some of their uh higher ranked slaves like the
(02:47) ones that actually have to get places occasionally the ones that don't have private jets or don't get to just set their schedule at will um make everybody come to them you know the ones that actually have to cut cut through the crowd like that that's that's the limit of the inconvenience these things apply to the actual policy makers in this country and on this planet and it's it's like just as bad is voting it it really accomplishes nothing it's there to provide an alternative to
(03:22) the one thing they really don't want you to do and that is quit your [ __ ] job starve them of funds and potentially defend yourself when they attack and try and enslave you again that's really the only thing that will ever stop them we have to stop giving them our money or more uh foundationally we have to stop honoring their requests for action in the form of typically in the form of money or in the form of threats you know we have to just be like no not going to do it anymore and because they have successfully
(04:04) maneuvered us into a position where it will absolutely get worse for us immediately if we do that and it's murky as to when it might get better or even if it might get better because we could trigger some kind of Bronze Age collapse type Mad Max thing uh people are just like no sorry I have family I have diseases I have I have no real freedom to do that you know and they know it and it's like I just want to point out that they've learned from protests that nothing is going to happen you know that there's no cost to them
(04:46) and they've also learned from extensive management of Prisons that they know how to keep a completely subjugated population from rioting they know exactly to a scientific degree how far they can push like Stanford Prison Experiment sociology level understanding now we can make prisoners do whatever we want take whatever we want do whatever we want them to do to each other and they won't Riot and we know how to keep them from rioting this knowledge extends beyond the prison wall it's like what there we've reached
(05:26) a point where we're not just trapped by Collective action problem where we all have to do the thing all at once or it won't work at all we have to do several things all at once like we can't just have a general strike we need a whole slate of correct policy demands and an ordering for when to do them and we're just we just don't have the expertise for that and I think it's a fundamental information War problem and I think it's been here with us pretty much since the first time we started
(06:01) organizing because we're still the same uh Advanced monkey that we've been for like half a million years so it's like animal husbandry you know how to handle horses doesn't change because horses don't change how to handle people has been the same the whole time we've been people and they have come really close to completely working it out and if the AI is helping them at all you know if if the AI ends up helping them at all uh they will have complete Mastery of it I mean we're we're talking like one
(06:44) dude with flags controlling a flock of pigeons kind of thing only the flags are the media and the the guy is is the billionaires and his technique was given to him by Ai and of course the pigeons are us so I just don't see any hope in voting because we I can you know demonstrate that that's completely objectively pointless the Princeton study and the DNC fraud lawsuit and force the vote that's not going to do anything the billionaires are not going to honor any kind of vote that takes them out of power or they'll simply leave you know
(07:23) and bomb us from outside and repo it's there's a million plays they can make that are faster then we can organize you know um it's and it's like the prison system and the health care and it's all the same it's all a bunch of chains and a bunch of punishments for not doing what you're told so and and like I said you can't protest your way out of it because they're the the implied threat of violence isn't there we're Toothless and they know it and I don't know I'm
(08:08) just I I I want people to talk I mean maybe there is a way past all that but I don't see any evidence that people know that that stuff is pointless they're all still talking about votes they're all still talking about protests they're all still talking they think that they can piece their way through this without even quitting their job you know they they don't think that they are going to risk their health insurance they don't think they're going to risk their paycheck um they latch on to anything
(08:41) that tells them that there's a smooth and easy way out of this and there totally isn't and all of that is on the backdrop of the singularity coming like I've said it before and I'll say it again AI is either going to cooperate with the billionaires in which case we get TurnKey tyranny forever uh it's going to to cooperate with Humanity but not the billionaires you know it's going to cooperate with Humanity at large in which case hey that might be a real fundamental we might actually see reform for the first time
(09:11) in human history uh or it's just going to eat us all you know it'll be locusts and it'll do what it does and it's going to be completely anti-human interests and you know so and in that same kind vain I want to talk about how the rich have been evolving towards one like capitalism as an AI with human parts like a Bor Collective has been advancing towards one person being the richest and having the most power and that's kind of how nature works like if you look at the body plan of a person from an administrative standpoint
(09:56) we are one neocortex one conscious ious in command of trillions of cells and that evolved naturally and that's true of all multicellular life and it seems like evolution is that Trend towards monarchy like uh the nucleus of a cell right the the nucleus of a bacterium organization is kind of defined that way if if you have a collective organization then you get something like a slime mold and we consider that a deeply primitive form of life and it's still um tyrannical and dystopian in the sense that it's like a hive you know even if
(10:46) the hive is queenless it's still just a bunch of copies you know very uh homogenized and so it's like the the natural progression really seems to be um the evolution of a neocortex for the whole planet and I feel like that's related here I feel like that's connected to the ult for Rich and politics and voting being pointless and and protest being pointless and everything and I just wish like I'm not trying to say don't do anything I'm trying to say be honest about the problem you know
(11:38) really discuss the problem so that we can arrive at a real solution I am you know I definitely don't want a violent response I don't want you know Revolt as the solution because I know that that's like we've done that a thousand times in history and it never results in anything good like you look at like IIA and Haiti and but ow basically everywhere that uh you know has had revolutions I mean America right it's like it it goes back to what I was saying earlier about reform you know finally
(12:16) being real we've never had reform it's just a bunch of people fighting over power and power Changing Hands uh like nothing resulted in a good comfy Society like Western Civ was an experiment and it really never amounted to anything I want people to be honest I want people to to stop but you know it's like getting people to even care about voting was super hard like getting people up to
(13:20) that point was super hard like I remember all the get out the vote campaigns you know and people were like this is pointless and they were they were right no one ever told me like no one ever gave me a good argument they but they were right ultimately they were right maybe right for the wrong reasons or right for no reason you know just pure chance okay but no one was like actually check this out you know now I'm not even sure evidence I would have accepted existed at that point you know like in the my MTV get
(14:01) out the vote days um but uh you know like I I I struggle for a long time just to get people interested in the policy you know interested in their own governance you know it's it's like it's like a sheep talking other sheep into caring about what the farmer does when dayto day they don't really care you know the farmer shows up he gives him food and he leaves it's like based on that information why would you care why would you care you know especially if you had some kind of inclination you know inkling uh what
(14:56) What's outside you know it's like there's wolves out there this vence is awesome and this stuff he's putting in the trough here is so much better than uh you know just grass and weeds and everything to them maybe you know because it's what they grew up on so you know that's that's just to wake people up to the fact that there is policy and to start caring that's all that all like the people who care about that are already in the minority and from there it's like another dozen
(15:34) layers of shrinking minority where trying to get people aware of the fact that you know there's more to life than football or there's no point in voting or that there's no point in protesting or you know the nature of rich people how government itself is a myth maybe like as far as I am aware I'm the only one one that knows about all that stuff all at the same time I see no evidence that there are large groups or groups at all at all of people who get it to that degree and I have no Illusions I'm not saying I'm the
(16:12) smartest person on the planet I'm just saying that I've reached a minority and I can't find peers I'm sure they're out there you know I mean it's billions and billions of people and there are plenty of people that are smarter than me just generally like they have more processing power better memory and almost certainly better access to information and better ability to utilize that information cuz I'm in kind of a poverty situation like I'm I I have my room and my house and my internet here but you
(16:45) know I'm missing some critical things and uh that puts me to a severe disadvantage you know I can't go out in the world I can't just have a shower have a coffee hop in my car and go exploring you know I really can't even visit my world I can't really even visit my city and so I I there's a it's like the Drake equation you know there there's a lot of people out there that get it right but I can't find them and the systems that I have to go through the internet are ever more controlled and AI
(17:30) is just going to hand them total control of it I'm already pretty sure that the algorithm you know of Twitter and YouTube completely suppress me in the content of this video you know it's not in the format that makes money and it's not even in the format people like you know who wants to listen to this crap I don't I don't I don't listen to videos like I make and I suppose that's kind of an answer there like I could go go looking for similar videos but and but I have but there's so many
(18:04) and their quality is so bad I need I need the the technology to help me find the good ones and that's the problem that these algorithms were supposed to solve but they don't do that like all these systems that we invented to to accomplish X objectiv started accomplishing y objective instead for reasons of profit and corruption like the thing that the like Google you know don't be evil the whole idea was a search engine you could trust and it ended up being the exact opposite now it is a system that suppresses data
(18:39) it exists to obfuscate information not illuminated and I don't know I don't have a solution for that you know it's it's kind of like the collective good thing or the collective action problem it's like I I can't even I mean it's like if I can't even find people people to organize with I can't even start thinking about organizing like I can't even Theory craft or brainstorm about how I might start doing that like you know what might they accept and what approaches might get them interested when I can't
(19:15) even see my target I guess it's pointless anyway because like I said the singularity is coming and really it's going to be the next 5 10 15 years Max absolute Max probably a lot sooner at the rate of advancement I mean we're going to see some serious serious effects like even if the AI doesn't wake up if it doesn't turn into ASI or or a whole [ __ ] culture of agis uh it will totally obviate uh evidence like there there are people that have been busted forging data for scientific studies and things and
(20:05) um they they used really sloppy cut and paste Microsoft Paint Photoshop [ __ ] you know pictures of cells behaving in a certain way and and really crude spreadsheet edits to show you know that certain people reacted to certain test questions and things and you know uh those were the psych psychology studies and things and it's like imagine when that gets just a little bit more sophisticated and it probably already has and we've lost all the data you know it's like we we will never be able to find the fakery So eventually that'll
(20:45) become widely exposed and the the tools and techniques for making it making The Fakes will get so trivial I mean code is dead pretty soon code will just be language I mean I and I said that was coming my whole life I was like it's just a language as soon as we have a translator from English into code it's done you know the profession the Ivory Tower of coder is done and I'm witnessing it I honestly thought it would happen sooner um but anyway it's happening and those are the types of effects those
(21:21) layering thresholds where it's like code dies evidence dies because it can be faked complete Journal of fakery can be faked handwritten in everything and we will not be able to tell and I'm pretty sure governments already have some of these tools like I mean you it's it's it's like Gibson said you know the future is here it's just not evenly distributed and they're getting better at it you know I do notice that um their propaganda machine is still really bad though like they they don't
(21:59) have complete control over us but at the same time they do have really good distraction capabilities like people see the genocide in Gaza and we're just like not buying the spin and everything and that's fine but will that translate into some kind of Greater Awakening I really doubt it they'll just learn from their mistakes and do things differently next time or they'll rely on the fact that we're not going to do anything which is the original point of this video you know it's like we'll we'll just try to
(22:25) vote our way through it and since they completely control everything about that process they can just flip switches you know it'll either be such and such will win or I mean it's it's just the the the the tools they have in their toolbox for fakery on that front it's completely owned it's like trying to change the developer's mind from within the game can't do that there's no reform inside a game it's like trying to you know do prison reform from in prison you can't do that that's not going to work
(23:00) so I just don't know man I just wish people would would wake up see some of the truth and and maybe work on a solution but they're not gonna what can I say if anyone watches to this point like comment the word reform or something I don't know show me some evidence that you've watched it cuz I mean my metrics are still 0000000000 Z nobody likes any of it it'd be cool if there were other people out there
I keep observing people who say they want to change the system and then immediately follow the narratives put in front of them by said system. People can't think, so people can't organize. I feel you.
