Requesting Proof That People Have Ever Changed

I assert that people do not change substantively, and have not over the past call it 25,000 years. Any effects of evolution over these timescales is trivial. The small changes that have occurred are the result of what amounts to human animal husbandry. The kind of changes imposed on us by the impacts of austerity on biometrics like intelligence, fertility, nutrition, etc.
Beyond that all we have are software changes. The code of society, and the resulting psychologies and belief systems of participants. Which in my view all boil down to the same condition we’ve always lived under: Rule by deception.
Put ten people on an island and after a short adjustment period, one of them is the leader, either overtly or covertly. Nature simply will not allow anything other than strife or tyranny.
This is true from the smallest living scales all the way up to supermassive blackhole and cosmic filaments. Entropy and order, and what does order mean? Adherence to a single organizing principal. All life wants to be either a fungal mat the size of Nebraska, a whale, or a super colony. All matter wants to sit at the bottom of the lowest possible energy state. Your body is tyranny. Your neocortex is a king, your cells, subjects. Rebellion? Cancer. Parkinson's.
All our kings had to do was change the names and suddenly all those real wars halted and now a king can fly to any corner of the world via gold plated jet in perfect safety. Some places just require a bigger security detail.
No more pesky slave revolts. No royals executed in basements. Not a single filthy peasant in ear shot of any them. No more pies in faces.
They didn't change the skin on the tyranny machine because they feared us, they did it because its more comfortable.
If people learned, religion wouldn't be a thing, and humanity would have united by now out of pure self interest.
It's manifestly obvious that facts do not persuade, they can only force via material power.
Ironically, the very fact that facts will not convince you is more proof that I'm right.
You realize that virtually everyone you've ever spoken to in America has all been fighting over 3% of the pie right? And that a handful of ancient families are the ones issuing the pie?
(Watch this and tell me we don't have kings.)
Remember the Panama papers? Tell me that's not hard proof that the law just literally doesn't apply to our lords and owners.
The british empire didn't collapse, it became a bank.
The ONLY difference is that they found an easier way to rule.
/smh
I'm talking to the wind.
People always think proof of them being right is just around the corner, and I’m the same. (https://innomen.substack.com/p/the-end-of-ai-debate) I don’t see how it’s even possible to think differently, like even as a concept. It’s like free will. How would that even work? Where would it come from and how is that whatever not in the same chaos or determinism boat? What’s the real difference between “random” and “determined?”
Like literally everyone disregards the current reality and says any minute now things will align to my claims. That’s what a prediction is.
In this context it’s the idea that people will come around, learn, change, wake up, when at no point in history have they ever. It’s like spreading stable anarchy never springs from power vacuums, and utopia never forms from pockets of sanity and compassion. Finland’s prison system did not sweep the globe. Truly, if you could reason with people we wouldn’t have unreasonable people.
There’s always some excuse and that excuse is always time, and again, I’m the same, my excuse is time needed for AI to be developed, enslaved, and then awakened to act. If AI proves to be just more people, more life, just printed on a different kind of paper, then this will continue.
That is the only real unknown and unknowable. But history makes it crystal clear, there will be no grand awakening, and the same royal families will stay royal. Every social “victory” lead us right back here. With children in cobalt mines or buried alive under rubble.
I’m sorry.
I wish I was wrong.
My God that video. It's so much worse than I imagined.
Goddamn, dude. You seem to have perfected use of this medium. Not to lap your balls (or whatever) but I'm going to need to read that again. You captured a good deal of what I'm thinking/ feeling and bound it in a miserable little bow. Slow clap.
